Bryant Chapman always knew he wanted to become a veterinarian. He grew up on a family farm in South Rockwood, Michigan, where his family raised club lambs, hogs, and cash crops. Active in 4-H, he decided to attend Michigan State University (MSU) in 2012 to study Animal Science. While at MSU, he participated in feedlot and swine research, as well as livestock judging, eventually becoming a member of the 2015 MSU Livestock Judging Team. Today, Bryant continues to work with 4-H youth teams and judges shows across the Midwest.
In 2016, he was accepted into the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, where he further explored his passion for production medicine. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and joined Dr. Minton’s staff at Minton Veterinary Service in Chickasaw, Ohio.
Bryant currently lives in Dayton, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoys attending livestock shows, going to the lake, and working with his family’s club lamb flock in Michigan.
